Why this car cannot rapid charge
The Renault Zoe ZE40 has no DC rapid charging capability, so the CCS and CHAdeMO units at motorway services are not usable. Its fastest option is a 22kW AC post, which takes about 1h 27m for 10 to 80%.
That makes it a strong second car or commuter, and a harder long-distance car. Plan longer trips around AC destination charging at hotels, car parks and supermarkets rather than quick motorway stops.
Cold batteries charge slower on AC too, though the effect is far less pronounced than it is on rapid charging.
