The EV Pros ("we", "our", "us") operates theevpros.com. We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website.

We collect: name, email address, password (hashed), business name (optional), location/postcode when you search, and any information you provide when contacting us or creating a listing.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of: (a) contract performance when you sign up or use our services; (b) consent where you have given it; (c) legitimate interests for improving our service and security.

4. How we use your data

We use your data to: run the directory and community, process payments, send you service-related emails, improve our site, and respond to enquiries.

5. Who we share with

We use Supabase (hosting), Stripe (payments), and may use analytics providers. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5a. The Get Matched service

When you submit an enquiry through our Get Matched service, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), postcode, vehicle details, and a description of what your vehicle needs. With your consent, given at the point of submission, we share this enquiry, including your contact details, with up to three matched specialist businesses so they can respond to you directly. A copy of each enquiry is also sent to our own team inbox so we can make sure enquiries are handled. Matched businesses receive your details solely to respond to your enquiry. We keep enquiry records so businesses and drivers can refer back to them; you can ask us to delete yours at any time via our contact page.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access, correct, delete, restrict, port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact us at our contact page to exercise these rights or to request data deletion.
